Copper & Sage Opening at New Hotspot – GSQ – Goodyear’s New Downtown

Downtown Goodyear is a business hotspot. Several restaurants recently announced they are coming to GSQ and Copper & Sage is one of the latest added to the growing list. Copper & Sage, the newest restaurant by Westside Concepts, is a gastropub with a southern influence. They offer traditional Southern dishes like Nashville hot chicken and mussels, along with a wide range of innovative creations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

“I am looking forward to the opening of one of the first restaurants at GSQ,” said Mayor Joe Pizzillo. “Goodyear residents have been asking for more amenities and this is the start of all that is to come to the area immediately around city hall. The synergy this will create is exciting and I can’t wait for Copper & Sage to open soon!” 

Copper & Sage is under construction on 150th Drive, just north of McDowell Road and is expected to open later this year.

“Vintage and warm are good words to describe Copper & Sage," said Westside Concepts Owner and West Valley resident Joey Lucidi. "Whether it's Tuesday night and you want great bar food, or whether it's your anniversary and it's a special night out, this is the place. We're really excited to be opening in Goodyear at GSQ. It's more of what we need in the West Valley. I believe GSQ could be one of the coolest places in the entire Valley."

GSQ is owned and being developed by Globe Corporation, a family business, and is set to become a vibrant and walkable destination for residents and visitors. GSQ will feature approximately 150 acres of high-quality restaurants, shopping, entertainment options and more.
